Painting at Pecar: 10am-12pm. Pecar Nature Park, Avon. A guided acrylic painting class at Pecar Nature Center where participants create a fantasy-inspired dragon painting. No experience is required, and all art materials are provided.

Plainfield Parks and Recreation Craft It Yourself: 11am-1pm. Richard A. Carlucci Recreation & Aquatic Center, Plainfield. For all ages. A pumpkin painting program where participants of all ages decorate pumpkins using paint, patterns and their imagination. All supplies are provided.

Blues in the Burg: 4-10pm. Arbuckle Acres Park, Brownsburg. Family friendly blues music festival featuring national and local artists, food trucks, a beer and wine garden, kids’ activities and a sensory-friendly tent. Bring lawn chairs or blankets; a wheelchair-accessible path leads to the lawn. Free to attend.

Our Table: 6-10pm. Oinking Acres Farm Rescue & Sanctuary, Brownsburg. An outdoor four-course plant-based dinner at Oinking Acres Farm Rescue & Sanctuary featuring seasonal, locally sourced cuisine by Chef Logan McMahan, with cocktails, appetizers, farm activities and sunset views.
