Monday | Aug 31

Avon Library Events:498 N. Avon Ave, Avon. Registration Required.

• Pokemon Club: 3-5pm. For 1st-4th grade. A youth drop-in program for Pokémon fans featuring trading cards, video games, shows, comics, and activities. Participants can bring cards, gaming devices, plushies and toys.

Plainfield Library Events: 1120 Stafford Rd, Plainfield.

• STEAM Station: 10-10:30am. For ages baby-preschool. Interactive storytime that introduces STEAM concepts.

• Dungeon Drop-In: 3:15-4pm. For teens.

• Stuffie Sleepover: 4:30-5pm. For children, toddlers, preschoolers. An overnight library adventure for stuffed animals. Children can drop off a stuffed animal and pick it up the next day with a memento.

Danville Library Events:101 S. Indiana St, Danville. Registration Required.

• Toddler Tales: 10-11am. Preschool ages. Storytime fun with room to wiggle and explore.

Tuesday | Sep 1

Avon Library Events:498 N. Avon Ave, Avon. Registration Required.

• LEGO Club: 5-5:45pm. For grades 1st-4th.

• Club 512: Trivia & Treat Yo’Self: 5-6pm. For grades 5-12. A trivia event covering topics such as geography, history, movies, gaming, sports and books, with sweet treats and prizes. Registration is required.

Plainfield Library Events: 1120 Stafford Rd, Plainfield.

• Music & Movement: 10-10:30am. Babies-preschool age. Interactive story time.

• Teens Craft: Wire Bouquet: 3:15-4pm. For teens.

• Yoga for Kids: 5-5:45pm. For school age children. A kids’ yoga class featuring movement, songs, props, yoga poses, breathing, and relaxation activities.

Danville Library Events:101 S. Indiana St, Danville. Registration Required.

• Preschool Storytime: 10-11am. Preschool ages. Early literacy through stories and play.

Trivia Tuesday: 7-9pm. Central Normal Tap, Danville. Trivia starts at 7pm, grab dinner & drinks while you play. Free to play.

Wild World of Nature Series: Treasures of the Earth: 5:30-7pm. Washington Township Park (Pavilion Center), Avon. An all-ages archaeology-themed program from the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis featuring Terra Cotta Warriors, mystery artifacts, and Egyptian hieroglyphs. Free.

First Friday Night Cruise-Ins: 5-9pm. Downtown Danville. Family friendly. A monthly classic car cruise-in in downtown Danville featuring classic cars, hot rods, and specialty vehicles. Visitors can stroll the square and enjoy local shops and restaurants. Free.

Friends of Fred Food Truck Feast-ival: 5-9pm. Washington Township Park, Avon. Family friendly food truck festival featuring local and regional food trucks, live music, a family fun zone, splash pad, pickleball, artisan vendors and adult beverages. Free admission and parking.

Avon Summer Concert Series - Friends of Fred Food Truck Festival: 5:30-9:30pm. Washington Township Park Amphitheater, Avon. Family friendly event. Summer concert featuring The Strays during the September Food Truck Festival. Free.

Yoga in the Park: 6pm. W.S. Gibbs Memorial Park, Danville. Beginner-friendly outdoor yoga class featuring gentle movement and relaxation. Free.

Saturday | Sep 5

North Salem Old Fashion Days: 7am-10pm. Downtown North Salem. A community festival featuring a breakfast, parade (11am), live entertainment, kids’ activities, craft booths, food vendors, a car show, pet parade, pie contest, horse pull, truck pull, bed race, tractor pull, and pizza-eating contest.
