Tuesday | May 26

  • Study Boost Care Packages: all day. For grades 6-12. Pick up a study boost care package.

  • Finals Study Space: 3-7pm. Grades 9-12.

  • E-Sports League: 5-6:30pm. For grades 5-12.

Plainfield Library Events: 1120 Stafford Rd, Plainfield.

  • Tiny Tinkerers: 10-10:30am. For babies, preschoolers, toddlers. Interactive storytime.

  • Teen SRC Kick Off Party: 12-2pm. For teens going into grades 6-12. Celebrate the Kick-off of Summer Reading Club with games, activities, crafts and more.

  • Children’s Summer Reading Club Kick-Off: 4:30-6pm. Children birth-5th grade. Pick up reading logs, enjoy activities and more.

Danville Library Events:101 S. Indiana St, Danville. Registration Required.

  • Stuffy and Me Yoga: 6-7pm. Elementary ages. Bring your favorite stuffy for an instructor led yoga class.

Plant ID Hike: 1:30-3pm. McCloud Nature Park, North Salem. All ages. Guided hike. $3/person.

Trivia Tuesday: 7-9pm. Central Normal Tap, Danville. Trivia starts at 7pm, grab dinner & drinks while you play. Free to play.

Wednesday | May 27

  • The Girl with a Mind for Math: a STEM Story Adventure: 4:30-5:30pm. For ages 6-11.

  • Wee Wiggles: 11-11:45am. For babies.

Plainfield Library Events: 1120 Stafford Rd, Plainfield.

  • STEAM Station: 10-10:30am. For ages baby-preschool. Interactive storytime that introduces STEAM concepts.

  • Wednesday Crafternoon: Prehistoric Scene: 12:30-1:15pm.

Summer Splash Pad Party: 1-3pm. The Shops at Perry Crossing, Plainfield. All ages. Music, prizes and fun. Free to attend.

Plainfield Farmers Market: 4-7pm. Plainfield Friends Church Lawn. Free to attend.

Summer Fun Run/Walk: Hummel Park: 4:30-6:30pm. Guilford Township Hummel Park, Plainfield. All ages. Run/walk and visit different parks each week. $35/person or $100 for a family of 4.

  • Crouching Tigers Cubs: 4:30-5pm. Ages 2.5-6. Class is packed with fitness, character development, martial arts, self-defense, safety and games. 

  • Crouching Tigers Cubs: 5-5:30pm. Ages 2.5-6. Class is packed with fitness, character development, martial arts, self-defense, safety and games. 

  • Crouching Tigers TIGERS: 5:30-6:30pm. Ages 5-8. Class is packed with fitness, character development, martial arts, self-defense, safety and games.

  • Study Break- Pie-a-librarian: 6:30-7pm. Grades 9-12.

  • Try-It Thursday: Dino Nugget Charms: 12:30-1:15pm. For teens. Use clay and paint to make a mini dinosaur charm.

  • Storytime Steps: 10-10:30am. Babies, toddler, preschool, children ages. Stories and movement.

  • Feature Friday: 12:30-2:30pm. For teens. Join the library for a movie.

Jumperoo: 10am-12pm. Urban Air Plainfield. Park will be open for ages 5 and under only. $10.99/child (parent plays free).

Mother’s Day Tea Service: 11:30am-2pm. Ms. B’s Teas, Clayton. Celebrate mom with tea, three-tiered tower of dainty eats and a mocktail. Reservation required. $50.

North Salem Farmer’s Market: 5-8pm. North Salem State Bank (7 N. Broadway St., North Salem). Free to attend.

Summer Soundtracks- Southern Accents: 6pm (movie begins at 7pm). Arbuckle Acres Park, Brownsburg. Family friendly concert series with live music, yard games, local food trucks and beer & wine garden. Free to attend.

York Automotive Concert Series: The Disco Circus: 8pm. Hendricks Live!, Plainfield. Ticketed event, use code "DiscoWild" during checkout to to receive $20 tickets (ends May 25 at 10 p.m). Get tickets.

Saturday | May 30

Movie Night in the Park: 7pm. Scamahorn Park, Pittsboro. Family friendly event, screening of the movie Cars 3. Free popcorn, face painting and food trucks (the Wandering Bee, Papaw’s Ice Cream and Podium BBQ). Bring blankets or lawn chairs. Free to attend.
