  • Tiny Tinkerers: 10-10:30am. For babies, preschoolers, toddlers. Interactive storytime.

  • Teens Craft: Perler Bead Animals: 3:15-4pm. Teens.

Homeschool Art Day: 1-3pm. uPaint Pottery Studio, Plainfield. Painting project where artists can decorate their own paint palettes using their choice of colors and designs. Register in advance or walk in. $18/painter.

Tuesday | Aug 11

  • Storytails with Dogs from Love on a Leash: 6:30-7:30pm. For school age children. Practice reading with a licensed therapy dog.

  • Unreliable Narrators: 5-6:30pm. An interactive mystery program for grades 8–12 where participants solve puzzles, make choices and work together to uncover the truth.

  • Chess Club: 6:30-7:30pm. A chess club for students in elementary through 12th grade. Boards and pieces are provided, and no registration is required.

  • STEAM Station: 10-10:30am. For ages baby-preschool. Interactive storytime that introduces STEAM concepts.

  • Gamer Crafts: Hare & Hounds: 3:15-4pm. For teens. Make your own board and learn the classic French game Hare & Hounds.

  • Make It: Mini Felt Teddy Bear: 5-5:30pm. For school age children.

Nature Discovery: Seek at the Creek: 10am-12pm. McCloud Nature Park, North Salem. Explore Big Walnut Creek while searching for minnows, crayfish, fossils, rocks and more. Nets and catching tools will be provided. Wear closed toed shoes, bring a towel and change of clothes. $5.

Glow with the Flow Night: 8-9:30pm. Williams Park, Brownsburg. An evening at the splash pad featuring water play, upbeat music, and glow accessories for kids. Free.

Night Hike: 8:30-10pm. Vandalia Trail Amo Trailhead, Amo. All ages. A guided evening hike through the park’s trails with a naturalist, looking for bats, owls, fireflies and other nighttime wildlife. $5.
